Do you remember when IRC Internet Relay Chat was king on the Internet? One problem with chat rooms is when no one is in, what do you say, and how do you check back.
Forums and bulletin boards help with those problems, yet those mediums lend themself to longer conversations and longer time frames.
This thread is an attempt to get the best of both worlds.

This forum thread has no particular topic. -- Just Conversation
Write and have a conversation about whatever is ongoing.
Consider this more of a bulletin board than the rest of the forum.
These "Chat Threads" will be edited and pruned more often than Topic Threads.
I expect these threads to be a little faster paced than some others, yet still slower and easier to follow than most "chat rooms" would be. This is still a forum thread. I know I will post a little freer and faster where we are just talking in friendship, and i don't have to think so deeply. Not going to neglect deeper studies about Jesus though.

Today turned into a fairly long day for me. Started early. was able to do some forum things. Then my roofing helper and I started trying to get it together to go to work. --- Mostly thunderstorms this morning. The helper got wet trying to ride his motorcycle to the job site.

When i got a little caught up on the roof, after lunch, i got so overwhelmed with , , , well??? ... everything, or just lunch made me sleepy as everything. Getting up at 5am may have had a little to do with it also. After checking back with the job, I was able to get back on line.

This evening I am doing some posting at other forums and venues. And getting caught up with some posting here. I'll probably be online the rest of the evening, till 10pm or so...

Radar shows some more t-storms heading our way this morning. There is that roof in progress. If the rain gets here soon enough, i'll have extra time to work on the forum and website stuff.

Thanks for your patience somanyquestions in the thread where you asked the question "What Happens When You Die?" -- Know it is an important understanding. Your question is well worded. Prayerfully and hopefully a well worded answer is on the way. With that, everyone have a peachy day. I'll be logging in and out of the forum over the day as i do the other stuff.

Maaan . . . i need to be working today. Except for a few productive things this morning, I have been pondering and praying about whether to go roof today, or continue in the forum efforts. Beginning to look like forum work won out over roofing work. Funny how that happens when one trys to please two masters.

Anyway, decided to stay close to the computer for a while this morning. See if I can make some progress in setting up this forum for the long term. Much thanks to current members for your participation and friendship. If you see this and are so moved to post, I'll try to respond in this thread fairly quickly, probably alot quicker than in threads where our Lord needs to be heard more than I.

Yes, yesterday was a roofing work day. Looks like today is shaping up to be one also. Most of today anyway.
Just thought i would check in with the forum in this thread. So you know I didn't fall off the edge of the world yet. I'll post this then finish the morning chores, then get going.

I would rather be talking of Jesus. Period. -- don't dare start right now, then would be putting off the rest of the day and just never get back to where i needed to be and you all know what i mean amen

The last two days were 'great.' Maybe that is stretching it a little bit. I did get a bunch of things done.

one of the things accomplished was a decision to start making the first YouTube video for the forum. Yes, TruthinJesus.net is going to make a YouTube video. I'll keep you posted on that. ...... or in the words of the typographically challenged . . . i'll keeep you poosted. --
