Dear Friends and Readers:
Recently I was moved to investigate Christian Creationist Scientist and lo and behold I came across the "Answers in Genesis" website. "Answers in Genesis" is an organization founded by Ken Ham as a project with a creation centered worldview.
Answers in Genesis also runs a physical sciences museum called the Creation Museum.
Now I am going to give you some links to the website here in a moment.
Let me tell you, after studying just some of the extensive website of resources, I'm impressed. Most of their articles are concise and well written. Most articles listed are by learned Ph.D.s in their respective field of the physical sciences. Ken Ham also does an audio segment which I haven't checked out yet. Let me get to pointing out some links, like a trained pointer puppy should. --
This is the link to the main page.
http://www.answersingenesis.org/
Go ahead, click it open and take a look, when you are ready.
Below I will give you a quick navigation lesson.
You will notice it says, 1:1 on the front.
To learn the truth about creation one must begin with Genesis 1:1.
Across the top under the first set of headings is a "drop down" "flyout" bar labeled:
Home -- Get Answers -- Store -- Media -- Education -- About Us -- Contact Us -- Support
Underneath the link marked "Get Answers" the "dropdown flyout" reads.
Article Archives -- Print Newsletter -- E-Newsletter (ect through Creation Scientists
You want to click on "Article Archives"
Warning -- The "Get Answers" heading is a link itself. A click on the 'get answers' link will take you to an explaination of the article retreival system. This is not the link you want. You want "Article Archives." Hover the mouse over the "Get Answers" link and you get a dropdown menu with "Article Archives:"
Here is the direct link to "Article Archives"
http://www.answersingenesis.org/get-answers/daily-articles
From there all the scientific articles and logical essay pieces are listed chronologically under Monthly subheadings.
For example if one clicks open the month of November, then all the articles written in the month of November will expand by title.
For example, November has these titles and others.
Winter Answers sneak peek: Dinosaurs—Living Large -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/am/v5/n1/living-large
Evaluating the Gait Analysis of Ardi -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/aid/v4/n1/evaluating-the-gait-analysis-of-ardi
Soft Tissue Fossilization -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/aid/v4/n1/soft-tissue-fossilization
The Worldview of Today’s Youth -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/am/v2/n3/worldview-todays-youth
Of course I would probably never be able to sanction everthing presented in any website or ideology or worldview.
Yet I can tell you there are some things in this website which are valuable to anyone who believes God is the Creator of Earth.
For example: One set of articles I found were on Logic and Logical Fallacies. I found it so interesting I have already read the whole set. Here are some examples and the links to that.
Logical Fallacies Series Set
Logical Fallacies Titles -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/get-answers#/v/recent/k/logical-fallacies-series
Logical Fallacies: Introduction -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2009/07/27/logical-fallacies-introduction
Logical Fallacies: The Fallacy of Begging the Question -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2009/08/17/logical-fallacies-begging-the-question
Logical Fallacies: The Fallacy of Reification -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2009/08/03/logical-fallacies-reification
In fact one good way to choose links to show you is in their own word.
They have just started a series of mythbusters on Creationist myths. -- Top Ten Myths about Creation. Here is the link to myth #10. -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/get-answers/top-ten/myths-about-creation
And here are some links to other articles I have found interesting.
Radiohalos in the Shap Granite, Lake District, England -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/aid/v4/n1/radiohalos-shap-granite
The Cooling of Thick Igneous Bodies on a Young Earth -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/aid/v4/n1/cooling-thick-igneous-bodies
Chapter 2: Principles of Laws of Nature -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/itbwi/principles-of-laws-of-nature
Universality of the Genesis Flood -- http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/am/v2/n2/universality-of-flood
That is just a small sampling of what is available throughout the Answers in Genesis website. As I said it is quite extensive.
So with that I will make this an informative post and reserve comments for anytime someone cares to discuss these sort of things. Important Things Like . . . God's Creation of the Universe and Earth.
n Jesus,
Ken

Of course since I was impressed with the "Answers in Genesis" mission and their approach to creation science compared to the worldview of evolution, being impressed I signed up for their email newsletter. You can find links to the newsletter at their website linked in the post above.
The Answers in Genesis email newsletter I received today had a very good article on the worldview of evolution.
The article was posed as a question:
Question: What’s wrong with death and suffering?
In answering that question the author John Upchurch discusses "Tragedy in a Godless Universe" and how in the theory of survival of the fittest death could be a good thing, or at least neutral. But that viewpoint does not square with the facts of compassion. There is compassion and love in the world.
If survival was just a question of the fittest organisim for the task then where do things like compassion and love come from?
READ THE ARTICLE AT THIS LINK:
http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2010/01/18/tragedy-in-godless-universe
I hope and pray you find the article as thought provoking and interesting as I did.
Yours in Jesus,
Ken
maranatha
