Merry Christmas Marc, and all who read this...
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. If you are agreeing with me, or if you think there are 3 God's in one....a trinity. There is nothing in the bible about a trinity. That is a man made word.
I don't want to seem to be argumentative, but I do want to say this. Of all the words of God in the scriptures, saying that He is One God, a Savior, our Reedemer, I just can't see how anyone can divide Him into a trinity. We are not to add to, nor take away from His word.
I don't have the gift of tongues either. I don't understand exactly where that comes from. I believe the "tongues" spoken of in Acts is simply this, the people who were gathered there, spoke different languages. When the Power from on high came like a rushing mighty wind, they all understood what was being said, each in his own tongue, or language.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism. All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus. When we are baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sin, (if we are truly serious) we recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost then and there. The "gift" being salvation through and by Jesus Christ. I was raised in a Christian church. I later attended a baptist church. And later a church of Christ, thinking they believed as I do. They don't.
What I believe, I learned just as I stated in my earlier post. I studied the bible, and I ran referrences. I studied writings by others who believe as I do.
God (the spirit) was manifest in the flesh. The spirit was in the man, Jesus. The Holy Spirit is in us, if we are saved.
I understand that it is not the easiest thing to see. Especially since some of us believe the One God is actually three.
Tradition is a hard thing to overcome. I don't know a lot about Jewish Christians, but I think they know that Jesus is the God of heaven, come to earth to die in order for us to have life.
There is too much evidence in the bible proving Jesus to be the One God for me to believe otherwise.
Thank you for your response. He will be here soon and then we will see
Him as He is.

Yes Ann, it does & and can get quite confusing, but there is only 1 God, 1 son, God who came to us in the form of man, & The Holy ghost, whom I believe is God, the spirit of Christ within us, the good part of us...There's not much to know about being a Jewish Christian, other then The fact that the Orthodox Jews to this day are still waiting for their true Messiah to come...These are the jews whose eyes were made blind to the fact that the Messiah has already come, that being Christ...Don't even try spending your time trying to convert them to Jewish Chirstianity, it's a loosing battle for us...That can only happen through a divine intervention into the heart of these people...As I said earlier, they recognized Christ as a carpenter, but never recognized him any further from that point...Maybe my growing up on the streets of Chicago, was good as it was bad for me...But I use to spend cold winter days sitting in a church, rather then a synagogue, where I taught myself to read Hebrew, but don't understand it...In Church, I was able to pick up a bible, & being in The Kings English, through great difficulty, I was able to understand the words I read...I was before and after my time, if you can make sense of that...Everything I do to this day, I taught myself, I learned myself, & through absorbing life through my eyes & having no guidance from anyone else, went to the Chicago Library, where I slowly learned to teach myself to understand the words I read...Even wayyyyyyy back then I put my faith into Christ to help me from 1 day to the next...As you can imagine I learned quickly also at an early age, to fight like a bull when I had to...I never went out to seek or provoke a fight, but it's something that happens, we called it street sense back then, & STILL DO TO THIS DAY...You just could never understand what it's like to be Bi-Polar, & have been through what I have...I take my meds because I know what happens when I go off them...This is not a thing to be confused with being
possessed...But the few times I did try to go off all of them, 1st was physical pain from the nervous system,2nd was the 1st 3 days I felt like I was 2 different people...Sliced right down from the center of my head...I noticed my personality changing for the worst, but I was finally able to go the the bathroom with no pain...But living with other people was almost impossible for me to do so...It's not easy to sit here & type this, & I take many breaks to hold my head before I continue...For example, if they play The Dave Clark 5 song, it's a Five O'Clock World, it's not bad at all...But when I'm off my meds & hear it, such anger builds within me, cause where I was the first time I heard it was in my 1 room apt at the YMCA Hotel, just on the outskirts of the El tracks on S Wabash Av...Back then they locked the doors at midnight, & the neighborhood was all mixed...So that is where i named the day & the night. Just like Ed Ames when he sings They Call The Wind Mariah...& the Rain is Tess, The Fire Is Joe, & they call the wind Mariah.. I named the streets My Mother by Day, & My father by night...It was him I was listening to when he sang the song Who Will Answer when I took my life, & a neighbor came to check cause I had my stero blassting when I played it...Nomally I had a headset on, but at 27 I was too wasted, & too much PTSD, so ate a bottle of diet pills...I was in cardiac arrest when Ken, lol, yes his name was Ken Hanson, did CPR till they got me to the hosp.SO there I just jumped from 10 & 12 to 27...It's late & my heads mixing all my thoughts now so I'll try & finish this today, sometime after I get my outside pals shoveled outta the coop & fed & watered...
Good nite Ann |

Who Is God?
ODB RADIO: Listen Now | Download
READ: Exodus 3:13-22
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." —Exodus 3:14 Thirty-five hundred years ago, Moses asked God who He was and got a peculiar answer. God said, "Say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' . . . This is My name forever" (Exodus 3:14-15).
I have long wondered why God would call Himself by such a name, but slowly I am learning its significance. A sentence needs only two things to be complete: a subject and a verb. So when God says His name is "I AM," it conveys the concept that He is complete in Himself. He is subject and verb. He is everything we could possibly need.
Jesus put flesh on God's bare-boned answer to Moses' question, "Who are You?" Jesus left heaven to show us what it means to bear His Father's name. He told His disciples, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). He also said, "I am the bread of life" (6:4 , "the light of the world" (8:12), "the good shepherd" (10:11), and "the resurrection and the life" (11:25). In Revelation, Jesus declared, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" (22:13). And He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM" (John 8:5 .

Jesus is the image of the invisible God. —Colossians 1:15
In Him, all the fullness of the Godhead dwells.....Col. 2:9 How could it be any more plain than that?
