Bible Text of the Moment Annotation:    More Comments:
i   don't like this page already.  It may become chopped up, and wordy.
This page will probably have thoughts which humble me before God.
Just the thought of being humbled before God
brings a bunch of Scripture to mind….   Isaiah 6:4-7
But just gotta do this page.  You can also call this web page:
Bible Meditations of a common man, . . . just a common tater.
New comments may be infrequent.  Much of the Bible's message is very unmistakable.   Isaiah 28:10   2 Peter 1:20-21   2 Timothy 2:15

Annotation

May the Lord help me, you, and us to remember:
# 1 GOD is in Control.   # 2 JESUS is coming, soon.
# 3 We human beings seldom know, what is really going on.

Proverbs 3:3-8 --  Is the text which prompted the creation of this page.  I started out just thinking of how often things happen differently than the way we think they should.  Often we have no idea things could happen that way.  So the thought was of ". . . lean not to thine own understanding."   Isaiah 55:7-9   James 1:16-18

Trust in the LORD the scripture says.  God is in control.  I couldn't trust HIM if He wasn't fully in control.  And fully in control of my limited understanding also.   1 John 3:20-23   John 15:5
    Hebrews 11:6

The translators of the King James Version must have had some reason for capitalizing LORD.   John 6:43-45

Upon looking up the text numbers and context, I got so much more.  Note the text starts saying
"Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:" and doesn't say 'don't you forsake, don't you forget, mercy and truth.'  The text implies mercy and truth will leave us if we don't guard them closely and value them highly. Giving spiritual qualities human characteristics is a literary tool.  We call a ship on the ocean her, don't we?  From God's perspective though, maybe spiritual qualites do have us more than we have them.  "By grace are ye saved through faith and not of yourself it is the gift of God. . ."

  Ephesians 2:4-10   1 Corinthians 9:26-28   Job 28:28

We all know of people without mercy, who have little truth in themselves.  People who lie to themselves, and just plain don't care.  People who do evil, little evils, big evils, and subtle evils.  Some people are even proud of the evil they do.

This is a key to me.  What do we  value?  God gives us some limited choices in life.   See Joshua 24:15   What do you want to be?  A vessel of honor?  Or of dishonor?  By what works are you known?   2 Corinthians 8:12   The text says
"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."  Agree with God.  Work with Him here.   1 John 5:2-4   1 John 2:2-4

Hold on to mercy and truth so those virtues won't leave you.  As Jacob wrestled with God until God blessed him, we should closely guard and value highly the instructions of God.   Proverbs 4:4-9
    Job 28:28

Psalm 46:10 --   1 Kings 19:11-18

Romans 3:19 --   This is one of my favorite texts.  But just a short comment or two here, now.  This world has seen a lot of words through out history.   Daniel 4:28-37   Daniel 4:30-31
Isaiah 14:12-15   And lots of fine words from many who should keep quiet.   Psalm 53:1-3 Proverbs 10:17-19   Proverbs 29:20   And  lots of words that are subtle, sound good, and are deceptive.   Amos 8:4-6   2 Corinthians 11:13-15   When God pulls away the veil, every mouth will be stopped.

1 Corinthians 8:2 --   no comments here, now

Ecclesiastes 11:5 --   no comments here, now

Proverbs 20:11 --   Speaking the truth in love.   Ephesians 4:13-15   All good motivations and wishes and desires aside, you are what you do.  Even a child is known as a (good kid / bad kid; fanciful / down to earth; hard working / lazy)  by what he or she does.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 --   This text has been popping up regularly in my life lately.  It brings several lines of thought to my mind.  Here, now, as i pen this, what stands out is:
"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."

1 Corinthians 2:9 --   Isaiah 11:4-9

The following Scripture texts from Text of the Moment have no comments here, now. ----
Isaiah 64:4   --   Jude 1:24   --   Ephesians 3:19-21   --   Hebrews 8:10   --   John 15:26   --
John 14:26   --   Psalm 119:11   --   Ephesians 3:19-21   --   no comments here, now

Proverbs 14:12 --   Obvious?  How many times have we "known" something is true, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man," to find out later we were wrong.  ". . . but the end thereof are the ways of death."  Maybe not so obvious, huh?  Guess that could be another good reason for not judging one another.  Submitted are the following Scripture texts for your consideration:  Psalm 27:11  Psalm 27:4-14  Proverbs 8:1-9  Proverbs 15:19  Isaiah 28:25  Habakkuk 2:1-4  Romans 10:13-17  Romans 2:19-21  Romans 2:1-29  Psalm 25:2-5  Psalm 25:1-22
Deuteronomy 4:5-6  Deuteronomy 4:1-2  Deuteronomy 4:30-33  Deuteronomy 4:39-40

Romans 8:1 --   This text is comforting to me, those times when i am walking "after the spirit."  Those days, times, and moments i catch myself walking, in any way, "after the flesh," those times the text implies there is condemnation, and I feel guilty.  And usually I should feel a little bit guilty.  So . . . The first text that comes to mind is,  Romans 7:14-25  The next 1 John 3:20-23  Then  John 3:14-20  John 3:17-19   Oh Lord no, never let me love darkness more than light.  I try.  We, your people, try.  2 Corinthians 8:12  Psalm 56:8  Luke 18:7-8  Well, there are enough texts in this string of Scripture to keep me thinking for a while.      Revelation 21:3-5
    2 Corinthians 5:17      And just a couple more.      1 John 2:1-3    Hebrews 4:14-16
    1 Timothy 1:14-17

Psalm 46:10 --   No real comment other than to say, this is how i feel right now.
    2 Chronicles 13:10  Psalm 37:9  Psalm 123:2  Isaiah 8:17  Isaiah 30:18  Isaiah 40:31
Jeremiah 14:22  Zephaniah 3:8       Multiple text search

1 John 2:15-17 --   i have no idea what the Lord is going to do with this annotation but, . . . Here it goes:     Many sermons, and whole ideologies, have been centered around this Scripture.  Apparently its message has been missed.  It seems every one in this world, including some very 'religious people' today, want to "Feel better, look better, and be better." . . . Which usually means better than the other guy / girl.  Even those who seem to be altruistic and a 'do gooder' in our world have self centered, self seeking motives (lust).  Of course, that is the 'way of the world'  The will of God is not the way of the world.  The way of the world is not the will of God.  The text says "the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:"  Don't get me wrong here.  There are millions of people who do good, helpful, loving things for those around them, big loving things, and little loving things.  But who among us doesn't have a little problem with silly human pride and desire.  Some, have more than a silly little problem.  When you read these texts, use this as a bottom line basis:    "the lust of the flesh," . . . Who hasn't HAD TO HAVE a jelly doughnut. . . . "and the lust of the eyes,"   Hannibal the Cannibal said "What does one lust after? That which one sees, Clarisse."  "Oh Lord, won't ya buy me, a Mercedes Benz."  (excuse me for paraphrasing a fictional movie character and a rock n roll icon) . . . "and the pride of life"   King Nebechadnezzar said, "The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?"  (Daniel 4:30)   Mark 11:27-33  Luke 20:45-47  2 Samuel 12:9  Mark 9:33-35  Genesis 9:20-21             Genesis 38:15-26  Acts 8:9-24  Numbers 22:1-35  Psalm 81:8-12  James 1:12-15
1 Thessalonians 2:3-12  1 Thessalonians 4:1-8  James 2:1-9  Proverbs 23:4-8  Proverbs 5:21-23  Proverbs 26:12  Proverbs 5:15-19  Colossians 2:20-23  1 Corinthians 7:29-31  Luke 16:8-15  Ecclesiastes 2:1-3  Ecclesiastes 2:24  Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

John 14:27 --   Jesus said the words in this Scripture.  If you have the time, i suggest reading the entire chapter of John 14.  There are many areas of war, unrest, and conflict today, aren't there?  Some areas are powder kegs just waiting to blow up, aren't they?  But, man can overcome these problems and conflicts, can't we huh?    1 Thessalonians 5:2-4  James 4:1-3  James 4:1-10
Jesus said
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: . . ."     Philippians 4:6-8  Philippians 4:4-13  Philippians 2:12-15  Job 28:12-28  "not as the world giveth, give I unto you."  Luke 19:29-38  James 1:16-18   "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."  Matthew 10:28-31    Matthew 10:34    Matthew 10:16-42    Hebrews 13:5-8    Psalm 30:8-12
Isaiah 49:13-16  Psalm 91  John 14:1-3   Where does this peace come from?  Psalm 36:6-8  Psalm 17:6-8          Remember . . .  # 1 God is in control.  # 2 Jesus is coming, soon.
                     # 3 We humans seldom know what is really going on, if in doubt see # 1.
In short ya gotta believe, ya gotta trust  HIM
(A short note:  Personally, at this time, I need to do some html in this site, and another project looms, and it is tax time again, and I still need to work and make a living, so . . . It may be several days before I can post another "text of the moment."  When  you read this remember me and this little website in your prayers.  Thank you.   TYVM   )

John 14:2 --   I have a vision of the world after this one.  Before you start 'picking up stones' to throw at me, or before thinking to yourself, "here it goes I knew this guy was 'a card or two short of a full deck', "  don't make too much of the word vision.  Just bear with me here . . . .
And Imagine.  Personally I have no problems with the Bibles limited descriptions of the Father.  Daniel 7:9-10  among others  Revelation 4:2-6  Jesus said
"he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;"  John 14:8-11  John 5:36-37  John 14:6-8  Jesus was also transfigured, with the apostles Peter, James, and John as witnesses.  Matthew 17:1-3  Mark 9:1-3  Jesus walked through walls.  John 20:19  And anyone with the least amount of knowledge about the Bible and Jesus, knows He performed miracles, and God has done many unbelievable works.  Think for a moment about the Universe we do knowUnbelievable"Who hath believed our report? . . ."  Isaiah 53:1-6
1 Corinthians 2:7-11  Isaiah 64:4  He has created worlds only He numbers.  Hebrews 1:1-2  Hebrews 11:1-3  Job 1:6  Job 2:1-2  Hebrews 1:1-14  God formed Earth to be inhabited for-ever.  Isaiah 45:17-22  If any sentient, intelligent being has the ability to create this planet and the universe we now see and inhabit, then I surely am not going to limit Him   Isaiah 50:2-3       Isaiah 50:1-11  on anything He wants to prepare for me.  I just pray it is good.  Revelation 21:3  Revelation 21:1-27  Revelation 22:1-7  Isaiah 65:16-25   One final note:  When you are 'down in the pits', and the 'salt mine' is killing you.  When you feel 'used and abused' and you want someone to just 'make the world go away',
think about the world God is going to give you.  And remember,  "Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?"  James 2:5

1 Corinthians 10:31 --
"Whatsoever ye do . . ." the text says.  There are all sorts of people in the world, aren't there?  We do all sorts of different things, don't we?  This text goes to the core of the "thoughts and intents of the heart." Genesis 6:5-8   Hebrews 4:12   The Bible says, "The heart is deceitful above all things,"  Jeremiah 17:9  This Scripture does not mean one should become a cloistered monk or a fanatical 'bible thumper'.  If you are a monk or non-fanatical bible thumper that's cool.  But 'Joe Jeshurun' doesn't have to become one to glorify God.  One glorifies God by being the best self he or she can be.  The following texts should explain what i mean.  Matthew 7:12-14  Matthew 22:36-40  1 Thessalonians 5:22  1 Thessalonians 5:14-28
1 Corinthians 6:9-12  1 Corinthians 10:31  Colossians 3:17  Colossians 3:23

Philippians 4:8 --   My mother did tell me, "If you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all."  And of course, in the world, the natural man sells and sensationalizes the bad things.  This text says
"...whatsoever things are true, ... honest, ... just, ... pure, ... lovely, ...of good report; if there be any virtue,  ... any praise, think on these things."  The Bible also says, "and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"  2 Corinthians 10:3-5  It is hard for us to do this, think on the good things, especially when there is so much bad in the world.  It takes practice to think about the good things. "To them who by patient continuance in well doing ..."  Romans 2:6-11  Practice right thinking.  God warns us, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold"  Matthew 24:11-13  So ... Keep Him, and the good you do see around you, in the front of your mind.  See "good you do see" keyword search, and read the results from top to bottom.  Interesting.

Leviticus 10:10 --  I believe one of the primary principles is the difference between good and bad, holy and unholy.  I believe this is also a major reason God allowed this world to exist at all.  Until a person learns the difference between right and wrong, and chooses the good and right way to live, what can the Holy Spirit do but plead with them or punish them.   Romans 8:24-28    One must be careful to listen to God when He calls.  And do what he asks you to do.  1 John 5:2-4   When He asks you to do it.    2 Corinthians 6:1-2      For God also says
"And the LORD said,   My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: . . ."    Genesis 6:3      And it is written "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, . . ."     Jude 1:17-25

2 Timothy 2:24-26 --  This is a deep text.  My only comment at this time is this.
What do you want?  Do you want to get out of the devils snare?  Do you really, really, desire to be free from your burdens, past sins and their effects.  Then pray God to save you, help you, and quit opposing yourself.  Desire alone won't get it.  Do Not Presume God will save you just because He loves you.  He loves those who love Him.  Jesus said
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."   John 14:15-17   God will forgive you and help you if you let Him.  For  ". . . the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?"  Romans 2:3-5  "Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:"    Matthew 3:7-9

Isaiah 50:10-11 --  Every time i get past fearing God, by obeying and trusting Him, my life gets better.  Every time I head off in my own direction, expecting God to bend the rules for me, well, that idiocy has caused me more than a few sleepless nights.  No more comments needed.   See the pending essay Repent when it is done.  ( Lord willing  James 4:13-15 )

Luke 16:8 --  Why does it seem some people get what they want, sometimes by questionable means, and others are always behind the 8 ball no matter how hard they try.  Are good hearted people inherently foolish.  Maybe so, in this world.  The Apostle John wrote
"Love not the world . . ."  1 John 2:14-17  The Bible says "Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith . . . "  James 2:5  God also says, "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"   Isaiah 1:18-20   Jesus said "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:31-34 Matthew 5:16  Ephesians 2:4-10    1_Timothy 5:24-26  Philippians 2:5-8    Jesus also said  "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."    Matthew 11:28-30    Matthew 11:25-30

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 --  My God, My God, … thank you.  The past three months have been tough for me.  Somewhat tougher than usually. All good intentions aside, it is mostly my own fault.  I have been foolish, weak, base, despised (despised especially by myself), and feel like a big ignorant nothing.  I surely don't feel worth the effort God has put into me and my life.  i Repent.  God's goodness leads to repentance.   Romans 2:4   Romans 2:3-11  Romans 11:18-23  2_Thessalonians 1:7-12  Maybe since this text says
"God hath chosen . . ." there is hope.  Proverbs says  ". . . despise not the chastening of the Lord."    Proverbs 3:11-12   Proverbs 3    Well, I surely don't despise His chastening, even though it hurts terribly at the time. Hebrews_12:5-8   Hebrews 12:1-29   Hebrews 12:12-29   This scripture annotated ends by saying "That no flesh should glory in his presence."  This is a primary principle.  No person and no creature, in the heavens or earth, is greater than God.  I believe this is also a major reason God allowed this world to exist at all. "That no flesh should glory in his presence."   God is in control.   If you don't believe it, try doing something foolish for a while.   If you are willing and humble,  He will teach you,  and give you the power, to do better.    1 Chronicles 28:9   Isaiah 1:18-20   Lamentations_3:31-36;21-26    2 Corinthians 8:11-12    2 Peter 3:9-13    2 Chronicles 7:13-14   Psalm 10:16-18   Isaiah 57:15-16   Luke 18:13-14   James 4:7-12   1 Peter 5:5-8   Jeremiah_31:31-34   Even if you need a few spankings along the way.
And finally, the truth of the matter is this:
"Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?"      James 2:5    James 2:1-26

Psalm 45:1-2 --  "My heart is inditing a good matter:"  It is good the King comes. "My tongue is the pen of a ready writer."  Although sometimes i wonder wheither it does any good or not, ... Still I must write about my Lord as I am moved.  Jesus is much fairer than the rest of us.
Pure grace is in all His words.  And God Blesses Jesus Forever.  Romans 10:8-11   Acts 26:19-21

Isaiah 26:13 --  This text really rankles human pride.  There are many others like it.  Please allow me to list a few.  There is the text referenced:  "O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name."    Isaiah 26:13    Then this text, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."    Isaiah 45:7    Isaiah 45:6-8    Other pride killers include: "Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost."    1 Corinthians 12:3    And "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."   John 14:6     In another place He said, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."    John 6:44    ". . . for without me ye can do nothing."   John 15:5

David the King begged, "Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me."   Psalm 51:11   because God can do it.    Isaiah 57:15    Isaiah 63:10    Jesus also said, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"    Luke 11:13    The apostle Paul said, "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."    1 Corinthians 2:13    "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."    Ephesians 4:30

Jesus also said "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."    Luke 6:45    Luke 6:44-46

Paul also said, "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good."    Romans 12:9

The apostle Peter said "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.  For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."    1 Peter 3:10-12

The apostle John counseled, "Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God."    3 John 1:11
    1 John 2:18-26    See   1 John 2:18; 1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:3; 2 John 1:7

The Almighty God through the prophet Malachi said, "Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?"    Malachi 2:1-18    See   Zephaniah 1:12    Micah 3:1-3    Amos 5:13-16    "Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?"    Lamentations 3:38    Lamentations 3:31-42
    Jeremiah 32:42    Jeremiah 24:3    Isaiah 5:20    Ecclesiastes 12:14    Proverbs 15:3
    Psalm 52:1-9    Genesis 2:17    Genesis 2:1-17

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."    Deuteronomy 18:18-22    Zephaniah 1:11-13

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."    Isaiah 8:20    Isaiah 8:11-22    Matthew 6:6-8    Proverbs 10:18-20

"Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together. All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans. I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea: "    Isaiah 48:12-18    Romans 1:18-25

1 Corinthians 13:8 -- This text 1Corinthians13:8 and Matthew6:24 below are annotated together.
The Word says, "
Charity never faileth:"  Last time i checked never meant never.  But, the Word of God says, "prophecies shall fail; tongues shall cease, knowledge shall vanish away."    "Charity never fails." <--- (personal paraphrase)

The apostle Paul, whom our Lord called to his office, said through the Spirit of God, "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;"  Ephesians4:11-15  --  Read the entire Chapter of Ephesians4.  Pay attention to these texts.   Ephesians4:4-7    Ephesians4:12-14    Ephesians4:17-18    Ephesians4:25-27    Ephesians4:30-32

Dear Reader, You are a smart person.  You know 'computers', cause you are logged on and are reading this.  You may not be a "Systems Analyst," but you know more than a Troglodyte, don't you?  You were created in God's Image, to be pleasing and profitable to Him.  How does one do that?  The key is the first word of the text.  CHARITY NEVER FAILS.!

1Corinthians8:1-3    Many of us are familiar with 1Corinthians13:1-13 <--- for reference --

Matthew 6:24 --   Now . . . Remember Balaam and Balak.  Balaam was a prophet of God, in every sense.  Yet Balaam loved the wages of iniquity.  When Balak offered to buy Balaam a better donkey, Balaam jumped at it.  But he had to ask God first.  So what, if God did not approve.  Baalim would just ask until God let him go.  Balaam's lust got the better of him.  Balaam tempted God's people into sin and brought about much death.  Balaam himself, became counted with the enemies of God.    Numbers22:4-6    Numbers22:12    Numbers22:27-30    See  Numbers22:1-Numbers24:25  &  Numbers31:16  for reference    text above

When I am up on a roof, doing my business, and the contractor shows up with a potential customer, i do not jump up and start preaching.  My boss is not paying me to do that.  If someone asks why I have http://www.kf1.org/roofer/ on my truck & hat . . . I tell them.  1Peter3:15    1Peter3:8-18    2Peter3:15    2Peter3:11-18    2Timothy4:2-4    Hebrews5:8-14    2Peter2:1-3    2Peter2:1-22

The Lord has not seen fit to have me witness full time yet.  "Ye cannot serve God and mammon."  Three cheers for the pastors and teachers.  Hip hip hooray!  Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!    James3:1-2    1Timothy1:4-8

I am reluctant to call any thing I do a ministry.  The pastors and teachers are the ones who minister.  They are the ones in the trenches.  Every believer is called to these ministries.  We all minister to people.  Some with differing motives.  Jesus said to go into the world teaching them.  There is no earthly pay.  We do it because we Love Him.  God is the best paymaster.  He just pays his workers in Spiritual Currency, of which there is no limit, though it be of priceless value.  This in addition to THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. Abundant life.  Amen.    Matthew28:19-20    1John4:18-20

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."    Matthew11:27-29

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."    James1:25-27

"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."    Revelation22:10-15

Isaiah 45:6-7 -- In order to make this annotation's message perfectly clear, the text in question must be repeated. "That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."    Isaiah45:6-7

In order to get the full import of this annotation we must look at what else our Lord can do.
Isaiah 6:4-7  "And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged."    Isaiah6:1-10

In another place the Word says "If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof."    Psalm50:12    Psalm50:1-23

We must never be guilty of questioning the Lord Almighty's judgment, or murmuring against Him. We must trust Him.  God is in Control.  He knows what He is doing.  We have "exceeding great and precious promises."  Let us grasp hold of His promises, never letting go!   2Peter1:4   2Peter1:2-8

Nahum 1:3-7    "The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him."    Nahum1:1-15

Job 13:15    "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."    Job13:2-17

2 Corinthians 5:21    "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

2 Corinthians 5:17    "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."    2Corinthians5:14-21

Hebrews 1:8-9    "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."    Hebrews1:1-12

Hebrews 3:1    "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;"    Hebrews3:1-13

Hebrews 5:8-11    "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing"    Hebrews5:1-14

Revelation 21:3-7  "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."    Revelation21:1-8    Revelation21:9-18    Revelation21:19-27    1Corinthians13:8-10    1Timothy1:5    1Corinthians8:1
