...I forgot to mention Job in my last post. Remember how God let Satan do everything but kill Job to prove Job's faithfulness? I never liked the book of Job because it seemed to me like God was playing a game with Satan as Job as the chess piece. Subject: True doctrine is all junked up
God makes many statements like "my ways are not your ways," and "as my ways are higher than your ways." In the book of Job, it says "barely a whisper of Him is heard." One cannot deductivly reason out God because the specifics about Him are beyond us at this point in history. That is if one even wants to know WHO GOD IS. Subject: Definition of Holiness
We (Christians) sometime think we can actually attain a level of righteousness, goodness, and holiness equal to that of God's. This Christian finds it hard to believe that level of holiness is easily attainable at least by me here on this earth.
